Third place for OncoThAI
Intrasense (Montpellier, France), which markets the Myrian® medical imaging software, unveiled the results of its "Myrian® Studio Challenge 2018" at the RSNA 2018 Annual Conference. The goal of this initiative is to provide support for innovative projects in imaging and to industrialize and commercialize the projects developed on the Myrian® platform.
Of the 30 responses, the project proposed by the OncoThAI laboratory was ranked third. The goal of this work is to develop a treatment planning system for interstitial photodynamic therapy to treat non-operable glioblastomas.
This computer work is the prerequisite to consider in the medium term a first clinical feasibility study of this surgical procedure.
